Meet the Presenter

Hey, I’m Cassidy! I’m a speech therapist with a deep passion for neurodiversity-affirming care and the transformative power of AAC.

My journey with AAC started just like many of yours - with little knowledge but a strong desire to make a difference. At first, AAC felt complex and overwhelming, but over time, I learned that it’s not just about technology - it’s about connection, expression, and improving lives. And if I can learn how to navigate this world, you can too!

I truly believe in celebrating each person’s unique strengths and that AAC is more than just a communication tool - it’s a bridge to self-expression, independence, and deeper relationships.

One of my biggest passions is empowering parents and caregivers. Your role in the AAC journey is invaluable, and when you feel confident and capable, you can provide the support and encouragement that AAC users need to thrive.
